It's hard for AK when he's getting hit in the backfield on nearly every run. He has to break at least one tackle to gain a positive yard. For the value of a 3rd round draft pick vs a 1st that cmac was, I think AK is the better value. I'd take either one of em to build a team around. If a system was built around AK like Tennessee did with Henry, we might have seen a 2k yard year.

THIS. The real winner was the Saints' front office. Hard to say Carolina was the winner given that CMC spent so much time there on IR, then went to SF and excelled, before again . . . wait for it . . . going on IR. CMC might be more talented than AK. But coaches sometimes say that the best ability is availability. Meanwhile, AK in yet another season suffered an injury (is this in part due to OL play?) and is apparently going to play through it.
