What I wonder is, would Adebo's penalty today be of the "spot foul" variety or a 15 yarder? I would say the ref's would have ruled Spot Foul, and the result (for us) would be the same.

I believe Adebo's foul would have easily been of the inadvertent, "two grown men being in the same space" variety. When I think of a blatant foul that would suggest a spot foul is warranted, I think of grabbing, holding, tripping...actions that are evidently blatant. Adebo's PI was not that.
