Should Saints Trade for Davante Adams?

I believe the Saints should do it. He has good chemistry with Carr and the Saints have a shot at doing something this season and we lack weapons on offense. The Saints can’t go the entire season neglecting 3WR sets and right now they’re doing so because they lack WR’s. And god forbid we lose Olave or Shaheed for a significant amount of time.

They aren't playing a lot of 3 WR sets more because they need the TEs and FBs to help in pass protection and run blocking. I'm not sure how adding a WR helps with that. Sure Adams is a better player than Shaheed is now, but if one of them is on the sidelines while we continue to mostly used 12 and 21 personnel then he would be of marginal benefit since you would lose a chunk of Shaheed's production. And I don't think this OL can hold up in pass protection if you play a lot of 11 personnel.
