Just went through this over a gift card shenanigans I was pulling. I had a gift card from years ago to a furniture place for $100. When I looked it up through the card issuer it said $500 so I went in to the store and had them look it up and they said $500 so we put it towards a cheap couch. My daughter kept saying "there's no way you had a $500 gift card in your wallet and didn't know" 😂. I eventually had to get her off to the side and tell her to keep her yapper shut.
