So if we didnt want him past this year it wouldnt cost us anything. He'd go into free agency, no harm no foul. So by all means rent the guy for the next 12 games and see what happens.

Thing is that he's going to want a new contract if he comes here in trade. I can't see that guy playing on what amounts to a one year contract with no guaranteed money beyond this year. And I doubt the Saints would trade anything for just 12 games anyway. Whether it is worth is will depend on the numbers and the cost of a trade.

But I can't help but thinking that we would be giving a 32 year-old WR a longish term contract while refusing to do the same with Kamara which kind of doesn't sit right with me. That is unless they need to extend Kamara to fit Adams under the cap which is certainly possible.
