Tell me what team in the NFC that IS 1 player away ?? A big body pass catcher that makes the contested catch is a top 2 or 3 need on this team And you're probably going to say OL or pass rusher and yes that is a need. But in case you hadn't noticed we ran the ball and protected very well in the 1st 2 games before McCoy and Ruiz went down. Also last time I looked there is NO all-pro O linemen or Pass rushers that are available for trade .

Let's say we make the playoffs, and with Adams the chances are much better. In the playoffs things get ramped up, more physical play, who you going to trust to make that contested catch? Shaheed? Olave? Or the guy that has made a career making that contested catch.
Also If we get Adams hen we have a window. A a 2 yr window where we Carr, Adams, AK Demario, Mathieu, Taysom an a D that plays great ( well at least for all but the last min or 2). That's a group that I can get behind an all in mentality for 2 yrs. If we don't make the SB, then I'm ok with a serious rebuild
