At first blush, I was skeptical that Jahri Evans could be the best player of the entire 2006 draft class.
Then I went and read through all of the league’s 2006 selections. The only two Hall of Fame-level players taken were Evans and Devin Hester.
In fact … with Evans, Marques Colston, and Reggie Bush, the Saints probably got three of the top 15 players in that class. Zach Strief probably makes it something like four of the top 30.
