This is pretty surprising to me. I thought he was unquestionably our third best receiver. Had some nice games as a rookie and had some huge catches this preseason. Was there something beyond the injuries? Otherwise we are just rolling out UDFA Mason Tipton. I was excited for Perry to get healthy. Maybe that was never going to happen?

Maybe he had trouble learning the new offense, was running wrong routes, or was refusing to give full effort while blocking? Don't know what the reason was, but I trust that Kubiak knows who our best guys are. Getting cut from a team with no real depth at WR is pretty telling that he wasn't doing something right that was pretty major.
