We've seen this so many times. I would love to get Davante Adams, but 1. we have to extend Kamara first to free up money and 2. we would have to get the Raiders to eat like $10m to make it work. It's not impossible but there are other teams with fewer hurdles who want him too.

As jdpower surmised, perhaps this is why we are being the most aggressive. We need them to eat money to facilitate the deal, so our offer, in terms of pick compensation, may very well be the best when all is said and done.
