There probably won’t be any significant news updates or movement on Adams and Vegas until Tuesday which is the start of Week 6. Schultz tweet feels like content filler for the day.
Schultz’s is the opposite of CBS’ Jonathan Jones reporting a few days ago that the Raiders were open to eating Adams’ salary in order to get the highest compensation back possible. That aligns with Rapoport reporting that the Saints are the most aggressive. Doesn’t make sense for that to change while the Raiders want the highest package back to maximize value.
