Saints at the top of Davante Adams’ wish list [Raiders trade Adams to Jets for conditional 3rd ; Jets paying Adams’ entire remaining salary]

On a team devoid of playmakers last night, Carr had some moments where he made some throws, that guys couldn't and needed to come down with. You've got Olave bouncing up and down for 5 seconds waiting for the snap and drawing a penalty. you got Mason Tipton having a ball slip right through his hands, you've got Shaheed failing to come back to an underthrown ball to draw a PI.

There was a lot of offensive ineptitude and yet in a scheme thats designed for the QB to make some plays w/ his legs when the play breaks down, it's frustrating that Carr doesn't take open running lanes and make a play or two.

Yes the pocket broke down aroud him a few times, that's to be expected w/ the # of backups playing on the interior. Find a damn escape path and pick up 3-4 yards, especially on a day where your Running game is gettting smashed after 2ypc.
Having a big WR like Adams to throw it up to would help with our offensive line struggles.

As for Carr, with only 12 scrambles in the past 22 games, I don't see him changing much any time soon. By comparison, Purdy (from a similar offense) has 32 scrambles in 21 games, and this year he is currently tied with Josh Allen for 4th on total scramble attempts.
