QB Spencer Rattler is a strong candidate to start in Derek Carr’s absence, sources tell Garafolo and Rapoport

Two best things that can come out of this season:

1. Win big
2. See if Rattler has franchise QB potential

If we aren’t going to do the first (which I still think we have a chance to do if guys get healthy), then let’s roll over to number-2 and take some lumps with the long-term future in mind
