Sure, I guess I'd want to know if Adams has a no-trade clause in his contract. He's already made it clear where he wants to go. So I'm not so sure the Raiders will be able to entertain other options unless they convince Adams to go along with it.
He does not have a no trade clause, however SOMEWHAT similar to his previous trade situation, the type of assets required to move him will likely require a commitment by him to his new team on a contract that goes beyond this year and is financially feasible/ideal for the acquiring team.
I don’t think any team is trading for that contract as-is, regardless of their available cap space.
So in effect, his de facto no trade clause is his willingness to play nice with his contract with a new team, I think.
Besides, Adams strikes me as the type of player and a guy respected enough that no team is going to send anything significant for him if they know he has no desire to be there. It’s a unique situation.
