Question: Are the Saints closer to a Super Bowl or a total rebuild?

We need a 2006 rebuild as the current micro rebuilds we've been undergoing since 2020 haven't led to much success. People forget that it took Payton replacing 11 starters (plus adding untested Brees) to reshape the franchise. IMO it starts with getting the bad deals off the books. But fans won't like it when Jordan, Hill and Carr are shown the door and we lose AK, Lattimore and others. However, DA needs to go without a doubt.
ATL did something similar when they eat 100million in dead money while dumping the HC and cornerstone players like Ryan and Jones. Painful no doubt. Might take a 2 win season to make it happen as the franchise loves the status quo.
