How many teams have OL depth that isn’t recent draft picks or veteran minimum, 1 year deal types? Probably not many.

We just have the wrong people.

The Saints have consistently drafted well in the first two rounds. However since 2016, they have drafted just two players in total out of WR, RB, and TE in the first two rounds. Hence why in that very quote I state it is clear why it makes sense to make a move for a guy like Adams.
