Losing these last two games + Derek going out should cause some pause on how much effort we're putting into trading for him. Meanwhile the Jets firing their HC also works in our favor. The Raiders are motivated to move him because they're paying him to sit, so the slower we move on it, the better for us, and the lower the compensation they'll be willing to accept. Also the $ on his contract goes down.

If possible waiting until after the Thursday game would be the best time to snag him and get him assimilated into the offense and team w/ the mini bye.
