Is it really a steal though? I mean, we're talking about a guy who fell to 6th on the depth chart because of injures and problems learning the playbook. Perry is going there by his own choice. Denver is happy to oblige for obvious reasons. They don't lose anything.
I'd say it's a steal if you compare his highlights to the receivers who were in front of him (outside of Olave & Shaheed). Playbook trouble or not, he produced when he was in the game.
