Saints at the top of Davante Adams’ wish list [Raiders trade Adams to Jets for conditional 3rd ; Jets paying Adams’ entire remaining salary]

I used to think drafting O line was the most boring thing ever. It's still not like jump out of your seat doing fist pumps and doing high fives but I love it. Now it's more like a dramatic slow nod of approval and appreciation.

Call me a nut job but I wouldn't mind using a draft every few years just throwing bodies at the O & D lines. Build up a 2 deep that could handle an injury. Having good/great play in the trenches just makes everything so much easier. Having a great WR is awesome but if the QB can't get a pass off then what are we talking about? Having a good Secondary is great but if the D line can't get after the passer then it doesn't matter. You could have Deion and Rod Woodson at Corner but in today's game with no pass rush they're going to get cooked.

It's all psychological.

We watch drafts in a similar way that we watch games. We crave football that time of year, and what makes us jump up and give high fives during football games? Players making plays with the ball in their hands. So naturally, those are the exciting picks, especially when after the pick they show said player scoring touchdowns and the crowd going wild, reminding us of the best parts of Sundays and giving us visions of said player doing those same things in our team's uniform.

Meanwhile, your favorite team picks an offensive linemen, and there are no crowd shots after he makes big plays during the highlight package, most of the clips are of him just being technically sound, and when was the last time you jumped up and every high-fived anyone at a game because your team's LT had a technically sound "+" rep?

Offensive linemen are boring picks for sure because they do nothing exciting...but when you hit on one and see him nailing down the spot with ease like Fuaga has, you sure are glad you made the investment.
