It's not my decision to make but I would bet there's at least one on the Saints practice squad at this time that would make sense.
Also, that's not the only option open to the Saints at this time.
It's also possible that the Saints could choose to put a current injured player on IR and sign one of the current Practice Squad players to the Active 53-Man Roster.
That move would open a spot up on the practice squad without having to release a player.
