The only exception that I can see where money may not have anything to do with it could be the Cleveland Browns. They are keeping Watson in there because they are paying him a stupid amount of money. And he quit on the team on TV!!

Back here, Rattler, in my opinion, would have to play lights out for him to take the starting job. A team doesn't shell out that much money to have a guy sit.
He'd have to play lights out, but When the Pats shifted from Bledsoe to Brady they traded him to the Bills the following year. he'd just signed a 10 year contract in NE, so yeah they can find a way to move him in a year if there's a controvery.
