Spencer Rattler named starting QB ; Jay Glazer reports Rattler expected to start next 3-4 games (month) until Carr’s return

Carr is getting paid $37.5 million a year. Spencer Rattler is getting paid $1.08 million a year.

Carr is going back in the second he can. It's a financial move.

It's not likely to happen because of our OL issues and the fact that Rattler is a rookie, but if Rattler goes in and his mobility allows him to light it up and we score 30 plus points on the strength of Rattler creating and making throws, then Carr's going to sit on the bench while he "gets fully healthy" and stay there unless Rattler really messes up. DA can't afford to mess with the chance to keep his job if Rattler is lighting it up.
