TIL that Boston’s More Than A Feeling was NOT a #1 hit song .. it only peaked at #5.. that’s ok, i know that it occupies a place in all of our hearts at #1 , so it’s fine- but if anyone ever tells you ‘the world has gone crazy’- they are not wrong, but apparently the world has always been a crazy place, or at least for the last 40 or 50 years- if that song did not make it to #1 .

Considering that More Than A Feeling was part of a debut album, it did exceptionally well. Eventually the album would become a hallmark for the genre of its era. That was one of my favorite albums and was likely one of the Top 5 debut rock albums of all time. I literally wore out my Boston audio cassette listening to it over & over back in the day.
