Just trying, he opened door to find cabin completely dry. Hit start and started right up. According to Rivian, their battery compartment is water tight.
They weren't joking. Rivian sent him loaner while they look at his for any repairs to be made.
Oh and while driving it back, came upon food truck that needed electricity. Got out and hooked them up to his truck so they could cook and feed folks
