I don't buy it. Just looking at that last real drive in the 4th quarter, he had Shaheed wide open in front of him on 2nd down. Then on the 3rd down roll-out, he's got a WR streaking as his first read. He threw it over the top out of bounds to Shaheed instead.

If it wasn't a single read, he wasn't doing it today. Could he get better? Sure. Could he not? Sure. We have no idea after this game.

We have an idea that he has the talent and that the game isn't too big for him. And there is no guarantee that Carr makes any of those plays either. On the other hand Rattler did some things that Carr can't do and it's time to get him the experience to find out if he can learn to do those things and continue to do the things Carr can't do.
