I don't think they are that comparable.
1. That was CSP first time being a HC. This is DA second go of it.
2. CSP had a depleted roster and had to slap bandaid on it because no free agent wanted to come here after Hurricane Katrina decimated the city.
3. Most of the Saints losses for the first couple of years were from having a makeshift roster and CSP inexperience in late games. By 09 he was better coaching in the 4th QT and it showed.
DA really hasn't had those excuses. He's had a pretty talented starting roster his entire tenure here (not much depth tho). He already had a few seasons under his belt as a HC.
