Spencer Rattler’s first start was…
I haven't post any opinion about the game. But I will say this...Rattler play decent. Had some great moments. He shown he has the ability to play in this league. No question. He made some rookie mistakes. He missed on some wide open receivers. And he kind of panic too early on some plays. He needs to get out of those bad habits he had in college. With all that said, compare to a lot of rookie quarterback in history making their first start, I will say he did pretty well. This game was not lost by him. Yes those turnovers did hurt, but DEFENSE>>>OMG what is wrong with that group. His receivers weren't much help in the second half. Start with Olave fumbling the ball. Guys dropping passes. Big passes for a first down near the red zone by Juwan being calling back by a dancing Shaheed who can't get their feet set fast enough. Second week in a role a big play was called back because receiver not set. What's up with our receiver going in motion and not getting their feet set fast enough. I watched the replay and it looks like the receiver are hopping around before they got set. I am very happy tight ends got involved. Wished there were more calls involving the tight ends. It would of help Rattler in this game.
For Rattler to have success this year, the defense definitely needs to play better. The defense did it for Bridgewater and Taysom that time. They can do it for Rattler.
