Ole Miss vs LSU

Well, I'm asking you... What makes sense...

Where should you yield drop rate from... Targets or reception? When you have a drop rate per completed catch or a drop rate per pass on evertarget attempted? Which tells the whole picture?

I've only seen legit two drops in 16 incomplete passes thrown his way. There is still 14 other incomplete target that can be up to interpretation of a drop. Those 14 target can get wildly distorted based on biased of some people have against Lacy on clearly off target throws.

This is my arguement in my original post.

PFF is a weird source, tho

Well since I am not PFF, I cannot answer for them. However, their key has DROP as a Handsdrop. That tells me that what is counted should have been a catch, so 30/33 = 9.1%. That's about as accurate as it can get. Drops counted from a ball that should have been caught, not a target, he should have 33 receptions, but only has 30 due to his 3 drops, a 9.1% drop rate.

PFF a weird source, maybe from some subjective ranks, but for raw stats stats they pretty much have everything available with their Premium Stats.

Would you look at that. NFL Operations, the official site the NFL concerns rules uses PFF stats for Dropped Passes.
