Outside of southern LA, it's not that easy. Believe me, there is no other fried chicken other than Popeyes. The Popeyes in NYC are closing down. I'm not sure if there are any left in Manhattan, but there is one in Queens not too far from me when I feel the fix.

Yep, I lived in So. California til recently and it was super-hard to find a Popeye's when you wanted one. I'm finding that Houston, TX, has A LOT more Popeye's locations, probably equal to the ratio in NOLA (not sure if that's a recent development since '05.)
