Time to give Haener a shot

Agreed. I get being angry and wanting to see something else but Rattler was under constant pressure last night. His quarterback rating last night was close to where Carr's was the last couple of games and better than Carr's was against Philly. Under even worse roster circumstances than Carr faced. Carr was averaging 25.6 pass attempts per game and Rattler has averaged 37.5. Who really wants to see Haener to come out and throw 37 passes?

Haener averaged 37.7 and 35 attempts per game his last two years in college. Why wouldn't he be capable of throwing it that much for a game or two in the NFL? And after what we saw briefly from him last night...yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing him go a full game right now. And that isn't an indictment on Rattler's potential/future at all.
