That’s hindsight talking- even though plenty were calling for the same thing at the time
Most anticipated a cap flush was impending, but Saints had a top defense and offensive assets
When we accept that a tear down is no guarantee of anything, it makes sense to take a gamble on playing the cards we had post SP
It didn’t work out
