DA was clearly the driving force behind the Derek Carr signing. And that is a big part of our current cap situation. He's a solid QB but it didn't really make sense to add him to this roster for that kind of money and kicking the can to do it. It would have made more sense to sign a cheaper stop gap and keep drafting young QBs until you find the right one.
