Why? It was a freak injury. They were down 10 and that play was moving them into scoring position with a minute to play. You think they should have just quit in a game where 72 points were on the board and the Bucs had almost 400 yards passing?
I bet you ask every player on that team if they were supposed to just quit there and not a single one would agree.
I agree. They could’ve ran the field goal out there in the next play or two and then onside kicked. Fans don’t pay thousands of dollars to watch teams give up with a chance to win.
