Our cap management style has a cost. Onyemata was a cap crunch loss. Roach was lost due to Bresee, Saunders, and Shepherd all getting drafted/paid. The worrisome thing is we don’t seem to identify/grade DL players well. The draft misses and talent that’s moved on is tough to justify. I think Payton brought more to talent evaluation than he gets credit for.
