I wasn't criticizing you posting it, I just remember seeing MTV way before I was 13 so I figured that the meme had to be old. I distinctly remember being in the house of a kid down the street who had cable and he wouldn't leave because he wanted to watch videos. Everybody was making a big deal of it. Not only did we not have cable, we had a 12" black and white TV with rabbit ears. Everybody wanted to watch something that wasn't cartoons, the Muppets, or a sport so I was confused. TV was awful back then (still is). I didn't understand why anybody would watch it if they could be outside.I don't know. Done before? Soddy!
