This Saints team is going nowhere positively until changes are made
It is on Loomis. The recent success of the Saints had everything with Sean Payton and having a HOF QB. Just look at the team's record during Loomis' tenure as GM pre and post Payton. The one thing he really got credit for was being a "cap wizard" and look where that has gotten this organization. A team that lacks quality depth that the bottom fell out as soon as a couple of injuries happened. Do I think they need a new head coach? Yes no doubt about that but unless there is a new GM as well I don't think anything changes. Unless he catches lightening in a bottle like he did with Payton and Brees and the odds of that are slim.
