Florio: NFL must suspend Nathan Shepherd

I don’t think Shepherd is an evil person, but he is playing desperate and undisciplined. Those are also two words that describe our HC and the team environment he has created.
I think this along w/ my assessment is accurate. He was desperately trying to make a tackle, so desperate that he didn't realize the ball was released, and play had been blown dead

Whether a player knows if a ball was released or not, you never try and bend a player’s leg/knee like that.
Thats a punk move.
True, but considering he had his leg if there was intent to roll on it or twist it to hurt the player he certainly could have. He didn't try to roll on his belly, he didn't try to torque it, just looks like he was trying to get him down. Then when he saw the flag he had his "oh spit" moment. For the length of time he held on, he certainly could have done far more damage than he did if that was truly his intent lol. He had the guys leg for what seemed like eons

I didn't see Suh levels of intent to injure, i just saw a player playing stupid and desperate.
