Me too. I always give Saints players the benefit of the doubt, but that was a dirty move. If a player from another team had done that to Brees, back in the day, it would probably still be dangerous for that player to walk the streets of NO.
Also, this is not the first or second time this year that players from other teams have accused the Saints D of being dirty.
To me this is just another indictment of the flailing HC of the Saints. It shows he has lost the control and respect of his team.
I don’t think Shepherd is an evil person, but he is playing desperate and undisciplined. Those are also two words that describe our HC and the team environment he has created.
