Well, Let's get Ben Johnson as HC and a QB with a top 2 pick in the Draft

There will be competition to hire a new coach, and with the current roster and cap situation, the saints will not be the most attractive option. I sincerely doubt we can bring Johnson here.

The new coach should get at least a 5 year deal, considering it will take 2 years to clean cap and roster and 3 to build up a new one.

For the ones that think that we are not that far, the results speak for themselves.

And regarding quarterbacks I am not impressed with Ewers or Sanders. If it was me, I will draft early defensive and offensive line, and get a quarterback at year 2 or 3 of the rebuild.

The results speak for having a bad head coach. There is some talent on this team to build around and a short term solid starting QB in Carr. Certainly we need some key additions at pass rusher, run stopping DT, and WR/TE (and we need a franchise QB) but we aren't that far off from a 8 or 9 win team if we had a good head coach. The rest is up to that coach to build.

It's not like any of the jobs that will be available won't have their own issues. What job do you think will be clearly above this one?
