If Carr can’t go next week, Haener should get the start.

So now we are going to listen to what Allen has to say? :hihi:

The thing with Rattler, it was just a way to feel some excitement for something new, when the team started on its 6-game losing streak. I don't think anyone, or many, truly expected Rattler to come out and look like Mahomes.

I don't have anything against Haener, and why not give him a shot, but Haener didn't exactly look that great beyond a couple of plays in which the tossed the ball to Kamara and Taysom, and they made plays with their legs.

Next Sunday, the Saints play a Panthers team that has given 34 points per game. Chances are, whoever starts at QB will have some success and will score some points. This will start a series of "I told you so" posts. But it won't matter until any of the 3 QB (and yes, I'm including Carr) can move the ball and score points against middle-of-the-road and above defenses.
Carr starts next week so its all moot now..... but besides the point... The point is DA screwed us again with extremely questionable coaching, and now all we have is his excuses. The reason he gave for starting Rattler was "we believe he gives us the best chance to win". Beliefs aren't reality. You can believe that Haener didnt look better than Rattler.... but Haener is the 3rd best graded player on Offense this game.
