If Carr can’t go next week, Haener should get the start.

I would play Rattler. See if he can beat the worst team in the league. It's not like Haener is in the future plans in any way shape or form.

I agree, I don't feel like Haener is the plan for the future otherwise we wouldn't of drafted another QB last year and we also wouldn't of started that QB over Haener who has been in the building longer. People are quick to point to Haener in these last few 4th quarter appearances but everyone's stats are inflated in garbage time. By the time he was put in the game was already well out of hand and the defenses were sitting back in prevent coverage giving just about everything away to just run out time on the clock.

Rattler looked his best the last two games when he was mobile and outside the pocket. Something, felt really off this past game. I'm not sure if he played through injury with that injury he sustained a week ago and just wasn't feeling healthy enough to run or what. It felt like the play calling was attempting to put him into a position where he was supposed to be a game manager and that is not the type of offense that is going to help us when games when you have our defense giving up 12 more points than the the opponents average. It just won't.

The big part of what is missing in New Orleans since Sean Payton left is the risk taking. No risk it no biscuit. If your head coach is a defensive coach - then your defense better be outstanding if your gong to play offense conservatively in this league.

I don't feel like they have really turned rattler loose or haener nor have they actually built a gameplan around exploiting the strengths they have. The game plans have been to minimize their opportunity for mistakes and rely on complimentary football that simply hasn't existed this season other than the first two games.
