More doubling down on "Looking Past The Results" DA interview on WWL

He knows he isn’t going anywhere. You can tell it every time it’s brought up. He has job security no matter what happens on the field or record wise.
Yeah, a lot of people are going to be disappointed when it finally hits them that DA will still be here next year.

Legit question: What's the Saints record if they were healthy? Because I think you can make a case that they would be 6-2. They looked to be one of the best teams in the NFC the first two weeks of the season. And I know, "but it's the Panthers and the Cowboys". But how many other teams are dropping 40 burgers on them like the Saints did. Only Washington (6-2) did against the Panthers, and Detroit (6-1) against the Cowboys, both pretty good teams. That puts the Saints in very good company.

So, by all indications, a healthy Saints team let by DA was a pretty good team - this year.

But they haven't been healthy over the last 6 games. And they did lose the last 6 games. So, is the issue really with DA, or a lack of depth due to an out-of-control salary cap? And, if it's injuries that we're looking at 2-6 and not 6-2, why all the fire DA posts? Seriously.

If he's lost the locker room and maybe he has after 6 losses, sure. But none of us know that. Now I'm not pro-DA or anti-DA, but I don't see the point in getting out the pitchforks for losing when you have a 5th round rookie QB behind backup backup backup O-linemen throwing to rookie 5th round and UDFA receivers - that's a preseason game 3 2nd half roster going against regular season NFL starters. I'm not sure why you'd expect anything else in those circumstances.
Until he changes the narrative, he is a coach that only beats teams that do not have winning records.
