Nick Underhill: Saints Might Not Move on from DA

Yep. That’s the entire crux of the problem we have. It’s not players, or play calling, or injuries, or coordinators, or draft picks, or cap space…. It’s belief, leadership, culture, attention to detail and accountability.

I was done with him after one season because it was easy to see, for me at least, that the latter just isn’t there with him at the top.
I saw it too. That 1st season wasn't the "continuity" DA was hired to preserve. But even CSP threw up a 7-9 stinker every so often, so I understood giving DA a 2nd bite at the apple, even if i disagreed with it. But I was honestly shocked he was retained for a 3rd season, and at this point, everything I'm hearing from the GM has me slackjawed....feeling like I'm in some bizarro world of a Twilight Zone episode.

I know what I'm seeing, and I know what I'm hearing, and the disconnect is so obvious to me. It's like Baghdad Bob proclaiming that the Iraqi forces have repelled the invasion of the infidels, even though you can feel the rumble of American tanks rolling through the city while he's saying it?! I feel like I'm being lied to purposefully....gaslighted..but can't understand WHY? Keep doing what you're doing, and keep saying what you're saying....but there is NO WAY I'm going to be convinced that what I'm seeing is okay?! It's not, and honestly, MLs continued insistence that I'm not seeing what I know I saw is making me question HIS sanity?!!!!
