Should have kept Jameis

Pretty much every game i’ve watched him in the last couple of years he has thrown some really risky passes. Admittedly I don’t follow his career like you do, but from what i’ve seen he is a boom or bust type of qb which is good enough to be a backup, but not a franchise qb.
I say all the time that I went back and looked at Tampa because I really wanted to understand why and how we got him. Tape showed WAY more good than bad, but things are always narrative driven. I've said this before and I'll say it again. Jameis is Andrew Luck without the infinite goodwill. He was as boom or bust as Jameis is. He just had the benefit of playing in the AFC South. But we don't speak on them the same....for reasons...

I have issue with people trying to tell the world that's he's something he isn't. Quoting a media guy as the ineffable truth is fiction and fantasy.
The funny thing is people that don't know football are trying to tell us what he is. I've learned that people at home who rely on the eye test knows how to evaluate quarterbacks better than a Hall of Fame quarterback that....*checks notes*....evaluates quarterbacks.

He's not an NFL starter by every measure that counts, primary among them being the viewpoint of 32 NFL franchises' decision makers.
Quoting a great poet, Michael Jones...
