Kurt Warner: Did Rattler even have a chance against the Chargers?

I get it. We want stuff to talk about, and things/people to blame. But man, weve had a thousand threads and a million takes pointing out the smoking guns. It all comes back to the same things though.

We lost a HOF QB and coach back to back. Depth across the roster hasnt been one of our strengths since Drew's last season. Our proven stars are old and we havent found stars to replace them. Top it all off with an unbelievable amount of injuries that no team, no system, and no coach could overcome.

Few teams win many games without their atarting QB. No team wins much after losing their starting QB, Most of their OL, and all of their receivers.

Kubiac's system requires the running game to work and even then requires the qb and wrs to click when called on.

Look how fast miami fell apart after Tua went down... just one example. Blame cap, blame drafting, blame whatever. Our best dopplefanger is the patriots. Their HOF coach and QB left and they havent even been competitive since. And up until this year, they basically fielded a rattler and heaner level of QB play and have been decimated by injuries and players jumping ship.

BTW, I felt the end was upon us when we lost williams and Armstead a couple years back. To me, that along with MTs injury was the final straw. Not the cause of death, just a huge signal that it was over.
