I've had cats most of my life, and only one wasn't a butthole, but he was an exception.
his head got stuck in a cup when he was a few day old kitten and we thought he was blind from it, so we named him Stevie (Wonder). as he got older we realized he was not only mostly blind, but also completely deaf. but he was the nicest and coolest cat I've ever had. i miss ol Stevie Wonder..
he earned his name because he swung his head back and forth while he walked.
but every other cat has been a butthole. I'm convinced these people who say they have cuddly cats are just lying because the cat is threatening them to lie.. lol

Cats aren't for everyone. You earn their trust by eye contact and slow blink while looking away. They think you are a big dumb cat which is essentially true. And the slow blink look away of indifference is cat for it's cool bro. Let's chill.

You'll know you've arrived when they try to trip you. That's because you don't smell like the pack and that needs fixing.

Dogs can be complicated as well. They are much more accepting of our ignorance tho.
