I don’t even know HOW to look beyond the results. Sports is, and always has been, a results oriented pastime. If we didn’t care about wins & losses, the NFL wouldn’t be a multi-billion dollar industry.
To me, looking beyond the results is simply the offseason. :shrug:
Looking beyond the results could apply to a young franchise qb that is getting better or a young ascendant team that is learning to win - but that ain’t what’s going on here.
