Why did you like him as a coordinator?

Was it the Minneapolis Miracle?
The time he missed the obvious fake punt vs the Rams or then couldn't stop them not once but twice when we needed him too?
Maybe it was the time he let Kirk Cousins drive the field for his only playoff win.
Or perhaps it was the multiple games he had defenders run into each other to allow easy scores.

The myth that Allen was a good DC is very strange to me. He was an average DC who choked in every big spot.
Considering our defense wasn't good before him, is fair to say he was a good coordinator.
