This tells me that Dennis was going to be Mickey's choice for 2025. I believe that he was convinced Allen would have righted the ship given enough time.
It doesn't sit well with me that the GM of the team was not vocally involved in any public way. This can only mean that he was not in agreement with the decision by Gayle Benson.

I believe that we are going to see a Loomis retirement at the end on this season. He just didn't see Dennis Allen as the problem. And his silence spoke volumes, loud & clear.

Totally agree,

Mrs Gayle can be shrewd . Just ask some of those that work at her dealerships when she gets customer complaints. However, firing a car salesman isn’t on the same level as firing an NFL coach or especially Loomis. And let’s not forget Lauscha and Bensel that sat by as this happened as well. Gayle needs a consulting firm to tell her what we all know. They all have to go.

Keep Hartley though because man if he can juggle ML horrible backloaded contracts then imagine what our cap situation would be if SP and ML did pass that burden on to Hartley for years.

Heck that might entitle Hartley to a shot at GM which also gets us perks for the Rooney rule compliance
