Broken bones heal better than torn ligaments, he'll be fine.

The Femur is the largest bone in the leg and usually takes about 6 months to heal to a point where walking with full body weight is normal again. However, full recovery could take up to 12 months or longer, depending on the individual's recovery. Normal activities don't include playing professional football.

There could be a change in gait. Muscle strength around the bone could be lost or diminished. Quick change in direction or mobility may be hampered.

We don't know if the surgery required any screws, or a plate inserted. Was the bone fully broken?

Adebo is a professional athlete in top physical condition with the best medical treatment available to him. Furthermore, with his career and financial future on the line it would make sense that he would take his rehab as serious as possible.

Adebo will be an unrestricted free agent at the beginning of the new league year in 2025. He is not under contract with the Saints or any team for 2025 at this point.

Hopefully he will be fine and have a complete recovery.

The Saints will know better than any other team how his recovery goes before he signs with a team for 2025. It's possible that he misses the 2025 season entirely.
