Makes sense to me! Idc what went on you don’t throw your players under the bus in public. Especially not for the falcons! Reprimand them privately. That’s leadership 101.
Allen handled it the worst way possible but let’s be honest, the offense threw him under the bus publicly, too. We all despise the Falcons but scoring out of victory formation was bush league.
The bigger issue is that it happened at all. No way that goes down like that if Payton is on the sidelines, and that’s enough of an indictment of Allen.
